Jackie has taught in both elementary and secondary classrooms over the last seven years. Her teaching philosophy focuses on practices that embrace inquiry and allows for self-expression. From the day she set foot in the classroom, Jackie has had a calling for systematic change for the future of K12 education. Jackie has seen how transformative learning can be when students take the reins.
Kristina has always had an interest in how technology can seamlessly integrate into the classroom ecosystem in ways that empower students. She believes teaching and learning should be holistically about the student: blending passions, strengths, and growth opportunities. Like Jackie, her teaching career has spanned both elementary and secondary classrooms. Most recently, Kristina is deep-diving into reimagined assessment practices—assessment that is indicative of progress and process.
